2. Band Concert - Please join us next Tuesday, May 8, for the Spring Pops Concert.  In addition to great music, we will have a variety of flowers for sale (flats and pots, $20 each).  Proceeds go to the band.  In addition, we will have TCBY after the concert for $3 and boostershop items (including band alumni shirts!).
3. Band Banquet - Please join us for the Band Banquet on May 12.  Invitations were sent home last week.  (Click here for another copy.)  Please return the RSVP form with payment by Monday, May 7.
4. Clef Notes - Don't forget to reserve your shout-out space in the pops concert program!  We are extending the deadline until Thursday, May 3.  Click here for more information/order form.

2.  With a Band Trip to Orlando coming up next year, we would like to investigate/plan for fundraisers that will not only help with the Booster Budget for 2012-13, but will also allow Band Students to add to their Student Accounts

Dear Band Families,

Following are the details for 3 upcoming events:

  

1. Buffalo Wild Wings is WEDNESDAY, 4/18.  Click here for more info and the flyer you need to bring with you!   
2. Clef Notes: give your favorite Band Student an “atta-boy” by purchasing a Clef Notes spot in the bulletin of our last band concert on May 8.  Click here for all the details.  Remember—orders and payment due by Wednesday, May 2. 
3. Flower Sale Fundraiser:  we are simplifying the Flower Sale this year by having flats of varied annuals and pots of mixed annuals for sale (Flats and Pots $20 each) at the final Band Concert on May 8 and at the Band Banquet on May 12.  No profits will be posted to Student Accounts with this simplified procedure—all income will go into our New Uniform fund.

a.      You are welcome to pre-order by emailing Kristen Hamilton (hownkris@comcast.net) or Heather Ziebell (hbz6610@comcast.net), and paying at the Band concert, or…

b.      If you like what you see at the Tuesday Band Concert, you can place an order for  pick up on Saturday at the Band Banquet.

c.      Payment will be due at time of pick-up.

Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser: Wed. 4/18/2012

Are you hungry yet?!?  Next Wednesday, April 18, we will be having a Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser!


How does it work?
It's simple - just go to BWW sometime on 4/18, eat some food, and 20% of food profits will go to the PSHS Band. You will need to present a coupon (available online here) to receive credit.

Note: The fundraiser will occur at the NORTH Plainfield Buffalo Wild Wings Location (near Plainfield North High School). Address is: 11820 S. Rt. 59, Plainfield, IL. It is in the same parking lot as Kohls.

   4/16 - Symphonic Band Extra Rehearsal, 5-8pm
   4/20 - Senior and Band Camp Scholarship Apps Due
   4/23 - Symphonic Band Extra Rehearsal, 5-8pm
   4/28 - Wind Ensemble & Symphonic Band performances at PICBF (see below for times)
   4/29 - Jazz Concert, 3pm in cafeteria
2. Join us for the April Band Booster Meeting TONIGHT (Tuesday, 4/10) at 7:30pm in the band room. Nominations for next year's officers will occur at our meeting tonight.
3. Symphonic Band - Please mark your calendars for 2 extra evening rehearsals to prepare for PICBF.  See above for times and dates.
4. PICBF - The Plainfield Invitational Concert Band Festival (PICBF) will be Saturday, 4/28, at Plainfield Central HS.  This is for Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble only.  Performance times are: Wind Ensemble, 10:30am / Symphonic Band, 1:30pm.  Both groups will perform in the auditorium.  Exact call times and more specific information will be available by the end of the week.
